Job Summary
Translate product, engineering, and business questions into structured analytical approaches using statistical, experimental, and data science methods to measure performance and guide decision-making. Own data quality of ZestyAI products by developing automated ETL workflows and designing dashboards to monitor quality and scale. Spearhead product monitoring and quality assurance by establishing analytical processes and best practices across the organization. Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement frameworks that support evidence-based decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- BA / BS degree in Math, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics
- 2–3 years of experience in analytics, data science, or related roles, including experience building data workflows, defining metrics, and developing dashboards or monitoring tools
- Strong organizational and management skills with past experiences implementing best practices and processes
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and comfort working with ambiguous, cross-functional questions
- Proficient in SQL
- Proficient in programming language (Python or R)
- Experience working with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, etc)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Desired Qualifications
- MS or Ph.D. is certainly a bonus
- 1 - 2 years of experience working with imagery and/or geospatial data
- Working knowledge of modeling framework and performance metrics
- Familiarity with, or an interest in, experimental design, causal inference, and applied statistical methods
- DBT Experience
- Prefect (or another workflow tool like Airflow) Experience
- Data Visualization Experience
