Job Summary
Data Scientist Analyst role in Ardian’s Secondaries & Primaries team focused on applying data science and AI techniques to private equity problems. Work with investment teams to optimize models, analyze market trends, and support deal execution, portfolio analytics, and risk assessment. Develop data sources with the data engineering team and build AI tools and agentic workflows. Requires SQL, Python, R, machine learning (including NLP and generative AI), data visualization (Tableau/Power BI), and financial modeling/valuation knowledge. 1-3 years of experience; based in New York with collaboration across Europe and Ardian offices.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or another related field
- 1-3 years' experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with international teams and collaboration across geographies
- Knowledge of finance/private equity domain and investment processes
