Job Summary
Join our Supply Chain Analytics team as a Data Scientist focused on developing Machine Learning models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and cost reduction. Responsibilities include training, testing, and deploying Machine Learning models, utilizing advanced data analysis techniques, and collaborating cross-functionally to create impactful data products. The role demands proficiency in Python, SQL, and statistical methods, along with experience in deploying models in production environments. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in data science related to supply chain logistics, strong communication skills, and a self-driven approach.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a data science role working on Supply Chain forecasting or logistics optimization problems
- Proficiency with statistical methods and especially time series forecasting methodologies
- Expert user of Python for data analysis tasks
- Expert user of SQL
- Experience training and evaluating the performance of machine learning models
- Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments
- Demonstrated application of software development methodology and protocols
- Excellent communication skills in writing and conversation
- Experience driving self-directed projects and working cross-functionally
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Snowflake
- Experience with container technologies, e.g. Docker and Kubernetes
- Background in education or in edtech
