Job Summary
The Data Scientist at Altus Consulting will drive data-driven decision making by collecting, cleaning, and preparing data for analysis, as well as developing and implementing machine learning models for various tasks. Candidates are expected to analyze data to identify trends and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. Collaboration with engineers and other data professionals for building data-driven solutions is essential, along with staying updated on recent data science advancements.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with poly clearance is required
- Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data science or a related role
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and libraries (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
