Job Summary
Data Scientist responsible for predictive analytics initiatives, building and deploying ML models using Azure Databricks/ML Studio, collaborating with data engineers to extract data from sources (EDW, ODS, Azure Data Lake), and presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders. Role emphasizes end-to-end development of predictive and prescriptive models, mentoring team members, and contributing to ML/AI vision. Oil & Gas domain experience is highly preferred. Travel ~10%. Open location with multiple U.S. states and Atlanta, GA as potential bases; remote work option available.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Data Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics/Statistics, or a related field
- 7 years of experience applying data science, AI/machine learning, and analytics techniques to business problems
- Experience leading data science projects
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised machine modeling techniques, with a focus on time-series forecasting
- Experience programming with SQL, Spark, and Python; deploying solutions to enterprise systems
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; experience communicating with senior stakeholders
