Job Summary
Data Science Specialist provides data-driven insights to streamline NETC program operations, advising on automation benefits, analyzing diverse data sources, and evaluating program effectiveness. Responsibilities include creating and delivering reports, visualizations, dashboards, and data models using tools such as MS Excel, Access, Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint Online (SPO), and OBIEE; validating curriculum data across Navy systems; providing periodic user training for NETC training systems; collecting, categorizing, and analyzing data; developing data algorithms/models; and offering business recommendations to stakeholders. Requires a Secret clearance, relocation not specified, and travel up to 10%. Employment is full-time and based at NAS Pensacola, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance
- 5 years experience in database maintenance and development in education or training environments
- Extensive knowledge of Power Apps suite for workflows and dashboards with integration to SPO, Power BI, Power Automate
- Proficient with NETC training systems and curriculum data development systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to analyze multiple data sources and synthesize insights
- Ability to read and interpret source material to develop learning products
- Travel up to 10%,
