Data Science Senior Manager

Job Summary
Data Science Senior Manager leads end-to-end analytics and ML initiatives for Commercial and Sales, including developing and deploying advanced ML/AI models (price-elasticity, churn, product recommenders, ARPU growth), GIS-driven analytics with geospatial datasets for micro-segmentation, and prescriptive analytics to forecast revenue and guide actions. You will lead cross-functional collaborations with Pricing, CVM, Product, Sales, Digital, Customer Experience, Finance, and Technology; drive feature engineering and model maintenance for Commercial and Sales AI products (e.g., retail stock prediction, credit scoring, value-based segmentation); translate complex analytics into clear business storytelling for C-suite and senior leadership; and oversee delivery of data-driven decisions across the commercial value chain.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/CSE/Applied Statistics/Mathematics or related field
- Master's degree in Data Science/AI/Statistics or related field (added advantage)
- 6+ years total experience in data science/advanced analytics/BI
- 5+ years in ML model development
- Telecom or large-scale customer-base experience preferred
- Hands-on expertise in Python, R, SQL; working knowledge of RDBMS, UNIX, shell scripting
- Proven experience developing predictive models in customer segmentation, churn, CLM and recommendation systems
- Experience handling large datasets; data cleansing and preparation
- Experience with data visualization tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of telecom industry value chain
- Excellent storytelling and communication skills to translate ML results to senior stakeholders
