Job Summary
Data Science Senior Associate on the Card Data & Analytics team develops AI/ML solutions for the Credit Card business, leveraging data analytics, programming, and consulting skills to define problems, scope analytical solutions, and deliver high-quality models. Responsibilities include exploring Big Data analytics use cases, applying GenAI-based methods, driving analytics strategies, building problem-domain understanding, researching and evaluating analytical approaches, performing exploratory statistics and data mining, communicating findings to stakeholders, developing domain expertise in financial/operational areas, coding solutions, and collaborating across teams to deliver client-centric outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative field and 3+ years of data analytics experience
- Advanced degree (MS) and 2+ years of experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of statistical software (Python, R, SAS) and data querying languages (SQL)
- Familiarity with GenAI and prompt engineering basics
- Experience with modern analytics tools (SAS, SQL, Hive, Hadoop, Spark, Python, Tableau, Alteryx)
- Ability to convey complex information to technical and non-technical audiences
