Job Summary
Conduct data analysis to discover patterns, trends, and anomalies in customer data, translating results into actionable insights to improve data quality. Present findings and recommendations to support customers in optimizing software configuration for pricing and cognitive solutions. Guide clients through success metric identification and lead model enhancement, tuning, and simulation activities to evaluate alternative scenarios. Collaborate with regional and global teams to understand domain issues and execute proofs-of-concept that demonstrate solution value. Adhere to ITIL standards for case management while maintaining specified SLAs and case quality. Travel to customer and team locations approximately 10% of the time.
Required Qualifications
- German language
- English language - business fluent
- Graduate degree in Operations Research, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
- Ability to elicit customers' knowledge, both explicit and tacit, about business objectives, strategic concerns, and policies related to the scope and success of the project
- Ability to translate complex data into business insights and opportunities to create value
- Ability to communicate analytic insights and recommendations to customers without a deep knowledge of statistics by relating data stories to business situations and processes
- Demonstrated experience of script programming languages, preferably Python, for data analytics and machine learning applications
- Ability to create dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate statistical findings
- Travel to customer and team work locations (according requirement, max around 10%)
Desired Qualifications
- advanced knowledge of machine learning
- Familiarity with business processes for retail, pricing, and supply chain management
- PhD is a plus
