Data Science & AI Internship 2026

Analyze operational data from portfolio companies to answer specific questions regarding cost, time, or process efficiency. Build ad-hoc bounded solutions, such as AI-powered pipelines for digitizing text scans. Evaluate external data sources for reliability and usability to strengthen analyses. Transform findings into concise slide decks with clear charts and messages, then present them to the Lead of Data Science & AI. Work independently to defined written specs, managing time and flagging ambiguities early. This 5-month full-time or part-time internship runs from November 2026 in an office-based setting within IK Partners, a European private equity firm managing over €20 billion in capital across the Benelux, DACH, France, Nordics, and UK.
