Job Summary

Gathers, analyzes, and interprets large volumes of data from multiple sources to support business objectives while ensuring data integrity through regular audits and validation checks. Maintains and updates databases, develops reports and dashboards, and identifies trends to inform strategic decisions. Collaborates with departments on customized reporting solutions, presents findings to stakeholders, and implements process improvements for efficiency. Additionally tracks state documents, processes adjuster renewal licenses, and completes internal claim audits as needed. Works a hybrid schedule with four core in-office days (Tuesday–Thursday) and one flexible remote day.

Required Qualifications

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship
  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Generally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, reporting or a related field
  • Proficiency in analyzing data sets and identifying patterns, trends, and insights
  • Proficiency in reporting and data analysis tools (Cognos, Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and familiarity with scripting languages
  • General knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Employees in this role are expected to be on-site four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely
  • Core in‐office days are Tuesday–Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred
  • Completion of or continuing progress toward a certification in area of expertise preferred; appropriate certifications could include an Associate Insurance Data Manager (AIDM), or Certificate in General Insurance (INS)
