Data Quality Rule Developer

Job Summary
Develop new data quality rules per documented business requirements and adhere to established development standards. Profile data to ensure requirements align with database values, then conduct detailed QA on rules and dashboards while documenting results. Iterate on development, QA, and UAT with requesters across AM, APAC, and EMEA time zones to finalize rules. Resolve Data Quality Help Desk tickets for production issues and perform root cause analysis as requested. Present planned production changes to the Change Management Board and configure dashboards by mapping rules to standard formats. Participate in daily scrums to report progress and roadblocks.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of SQL development experience
- Proven Experience with complex queries containing six or more table joins and joining across servers and/or databases
- Experience conducting code reviews
- Ability to understand database design and referential integrity without an ERD
- Experience profiling data on large and diverse data sets
- Attention to detail, following all requirements
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Experience with agile methodology
- Solid English verbal and written communications skills
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to tools such as Tableau and Informatica will be a plus
