Job Summary
Design and maintain scalable data quality automation systems, integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using AWS services and Jenkins. Define and govern quality strategy across product teams, establishing test standards, metrics frameworks, and dashboards to surface quality insights. Lead and mentor QA engineers and SDETs in automated, manual, and exploratory testing disciplines while tracking KPIs such as defect escape rate and automation ROI. Report directly to the VP of Engineering in a hybrid role based in Kochi, requiring 7+ years of software and quality engineering experience with a focus on AWS, SQL, and Python.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software and quality engineering
- at least 3 years leading data quality engineering
- Proven track record automating and measuring data quality assurance in production environments
- Proficient in SQL
- Proficient in Python or R
- Proficient with Git for source control
- Experience developing QA automation on AWS or equivalent cloud platforms
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and work experience
- Qualified candidates should be based in or near Kochi
- able to work from our Kochi office as part of a hybrid schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using AI development tools
- Proficient in Apache Spark (pyspark)
- Experience with data quality frameworks Great Expectations or Deequ
- Familiarity with Jenkins
