Job Summary
Data Quality Engineer responsible for designing and implementing a data quality framework across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers, building automated data quality checks in Databricks, owning reconciliation between source systems and data lake layers, validating identity resolution outputs, and supporting end-to-end pipeline testing from ingestion to Gold layer. Collaborates with Data Engineers and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria, supports UAT with client stakeholders, documents QA processes and findings for client handoff, and monitors pipeline health post-deployment. Requires strong experience with Azure-based data platforms (Databricks), data quality frameworks, ETL/ELT validation, SQL, and the ability to communicate effectively in English; travel opportunities are indicated in the benefits, and the role emphasizes data-quality-focused delivery across modern data platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Quality roles
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with Azure-based data platforms (Azure and Databricks)
- Experience validating ETL/ELT processes
- Experience implementing automated data validation and reconciliation processes
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- English: Advanced (required for effective communication with global teams)
