Data Quality Analyst

Job Summary
Define and track data quality assurance activities to ensure data processing meets quality standards. Create detailed data validation and quality control test cases based on project specifications to address potential scenarios. Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and department analysts to ensure comprehensive design and coverage. Conduct research in data quality tools and technologies to improve efficiency. Create data quality plans to mitigate risks associated with data processing and integration. Execute data validation and quality control test cases, including exploratory and automated tests. Provide training on data quality processes and validation rules. Update ICCU Data Quality procedures and processes to ensure effectiveness. Isolate, replicate, and report data quality issues to applicable management. Verify data quality issue fixes and facilitate data quality plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members. Oversee all data quality testing including functional, regression, and system testing of data processing projects, data integration, and data migration. Manage data quality projects from inception to delivery, including defining scope, deliverables, requirements, schedules, resources, budget, and success metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Preference is given for degrees in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields, or a data quality assurance certificate
- Strong leadership and analytical skills
- Experience managing data quality projects
- Advanced knowledge of data quality concepts and tools
- Excellent math skills
- Computer knowledge
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records
- Cooperative and positive attitude toward members and other Credit Union staff

- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.)
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 20-40 pounds of applicable supplies including but not limited to copy paper, cash drawers, marketing material, etc.
- Ability to use repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers
- Ability to reach keyboards
- Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc.)
- Eligibility for membership at ICCU to obtain employment
