Job Summary
Data Protection Intern supports the Data Protection Executive team in ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal policies, contributing to privacy governance, implementing compliance initiatives, and raising privacy awareness. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining privacy policies, advising on data protection matters, assisting with data breach management and data subject requests, drafting privacy documentation (ROPA, DPIAs, LIA, FRIA), supporting risk management and internal controls, and collaborating with IT, HR, and business functions in a global context. Requires Master’s degree in Law, strong knowledge of data protection regulations, proficiency with DPIA and data subject rights, and excellent English; position is based in Milan with a hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Law
- Knowledge of data protection laws and regulations (including GDPR)
- Understanding of key privacy processes (e.g., DPIA, data subject rights, data breach handling)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent English, both written and spoken
