Job Summary
Develop and enforce compliant data protection policies and procedures while liaising with the ICO as necessary. Manage and complete Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) on time, challenging disclosure requirements to align with all applicable laws and regulations. Interact with directors, senior management, and cross-functional teams to address data protection challenges, including the risks posed by AI to data and systems. Develop training programs and recommend best industry practices to the firm. This role requires an aspiring expert in data protection with a strong desire to implement compliant policies.
Required Qualifications
- experience in data protection
- The ability to complete compliant DSARs on time
- understand and challenge what needs to be disclosed according with all necessary laws and regulations
- interaction with directors and senior management
- interaction across the business
- Developing training
- staying ahead of data protection challenges including the impact of AI and the risks it may pose to protecting data and systems
