Data Protection Consultant

Job Summary
Design, implement, and oversee privacy and data protection programs tailored to client needs while evaluating controls to identify gaps and build actionable roadmaps. Lead privacy gap assessments, PIAs, RoPA, DPIAs, and audits across diverse sectors, providing strategic guidance on regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and emerging global laws. Develop and review privacy policies, training materials, and compliance documentation, and drive implementation of ISO 27001, ISO 27701, NIST, and other global frameworks. Support incident response planning, breach notification, and Data Subject Rights processes, and conduct end-to-end third-party risk assessments. Collaborate with cross-functional client teams to deliver end-to-end privacy solutions and contribute to cybersecurity initiatives including GRC strategy and audit readiness.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in data privacy, protection, or cybersecurity consulting
- Hands-on experience with privacy and compliance tools such as OneTrust, Securiti.ai, and similar platforms for data mapping, consent management, and assessments
- Strong understanding of global privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and others
- Solid grasp of ISO 27001, 27701, NIST, and related standards
- ISMS, PIMS, DPDPA, CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, UK DPA, PIPEDA Compliance & Frameworks
- Privacy Tools (e.g., Securiti.ai)
- Experience in AI Privacy Assessments
- Experience in compliance projects
- Experience in ISMS implementation
- Experience in client communication

Desired Qualifications
