Job Summary
Operate and optimize computer-based Range software applications, providing live exercise support for SIMDIS displays, setup, data feeds, and legends management. Integrate Live, Virtual, and Constructive data sources into a common operational picture while diagnosing and repairing network faults. Develop Standard Operating Procedures and recommendations for software configuration changes, then troubleshoot and document display-related issues. Monitor data integrity, submit trouble calls and reports, and assist with military and VIP briefs and presentations. Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, active Secret Clearance, and proficiency with NRL SIMDIS and AI tools.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field
- 0 years experience with Master's in related field
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience
- Knowledge of Navy live training range M&O
- Knowledge of ground truth data tracking systems
- Knowledge of NCTE network and Range display applications
- Strong customer service/communications skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to varying work schedules
- Technical proficiency with a keen eye for detail
- Experience providing real-time support in a dynamic environment
- Experience using AI for technical assistance
- Experience supporting military and VIP briefs, debriefs & presentations
- Active Secret Clearance and ability to obtain it
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with NRL SIMDIS Range display application and mission replay
- Intermediate Windows user experience
