Data Product and Platform Development Senior Manager

Job Summary
Lead strategy and roadmap for data platforms and products, align with business and digital strategies, and manage full lifecycle from inception to value. Drive data products delivering insights across functions (supply chain, pricing, quality, MRO, finance, engineering). Partner with architecture, data product leaders, and cross-divisional stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, secure technical requirements. Maintain and enhance data products across on-premises and cloud environments with a cloud-agnostic approach. Establish best practices for data governance, quality, and compliance; communicate progress to executives; define SMART goals/KPIs; lead a global team of data engineers, developers, product managers, and delivery managers; support data platforms using ITIL-like frameworks; experience with SAP ECC/S4, Teradata, Exadata, Redshift, Databricks, Snowflake; familiarity with MLOps and GENAI RAG architectures; prefer Master’s degree or higher and 17+ years of related experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data platform development, or related roles
- 4+ years of experience leading teams responsible for building data pipelines and data products
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- 4+ years of experience programming in Python, Java, or Scala and SQL
- 4+ years of experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data technologies such as data fabric, data virtualization, data mesh, ontology/knowledge graph
- Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks
- Experience in agile, cross-functional teams and ITIL-like service management
- Experience with processing large data volumes from on-premises and cloud stores (Teradata, Exadata, Redshift, Databricks, Snowflake)
