Job Summary
Data Product Analyst for YipitData’s Retail team. You will ramp up to become the primary owner of high-impact data deliverables, design and run QA processes to ensure data accuracy across sector products and client deliverables, and serve as a trusted resource for clients and internal stakeholders by aligning data methodologies with client needs. You will independently investigate and resolve complex data quality issues, collaborate with Insights and Engineering to streamline workflows and expand automation, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and robustness within the team’s workflows while mentoring peers. Ideal candidates have 4-6 years of data analytics experience, strong SQL/Python/PySpark skills, experience with panel data, and a proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. The role supports remote work within the United States and offers competitive compensation with bonus eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in data analytics, data operations, or consulting
- 4+ years of experience with SQL, Python, PySpark, or other programming languages to explore and transform large datasets
- Familiarity with Github and Databricks
- Experience using sample or panel data to make precise estimates
- Strong ability to communicate complex concepts both orally and in writing
- Ownership mentality and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Mentoring peers and raising data quality standards
- Preferred: experience supporting market intelligence or data analytics for consumer clients in a consulting or alternative data company
