Job Summary
The Data Processor 1 is responsible for processing field data and producing charts and maps while ensuring quality control and compliance with Fugro's charting standards. Key responsibilities include checking survey data completeness, preparing processing plans, managing project data integrity, drafting activities, and maintaining survey records. The role requires proficiency in applicable data processing/GIS software, specifically in multi-beam and single-beam bathymetry data processing. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience are mandatory, along with strong communication skills and a preference for project management expertise.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech. in Engineering
- 3+ years of experience
- Experience in offshore
- Experience in CARIS, Micro Station & GIS is a plus
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Multi-beam and Single-beam Bathymetry data processing
- Auto CAD for charting/Planning
- Good communication skills
- Project Management skills
