Data Platforms and AI Access Control Lead

Job Summary
Lead Data Platform & AI Access Control initiatives to ensure secure, compliant, and responsible usage of organizational data and AI systems. Define and manage access rights for humans and non-human entities across data platforms and AI environments using RBAC/ABAC, enforcing least-privilege across Azure data estates. Coordinate integration of IDAM tools (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint, Okta) with data lakes, warehouses, and AI/ML platforms; automate provisioning/de-provisioning; monitor risk metrics and audits. Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, and Cybersecurity; lead compliance efforts aligned with ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and DPDP; drive governance reporting, incident root-cause analysis, and training across cross-functional teams. Drive secure access across Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, Gen AI apps and services; ensure encryption, masking, retention, and governance controls; support Gen AI operations troubleshooting and optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- 10+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, Enterprise Data Security, Compliance and Governance
- Strong understanding of SSO, Tokenized Access, PAM
- Experience with IDAM/IAM tools (Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, Microsoft Entra ID)
- Hands-on experience with Data Platforms, AI/ML or GenAI Security
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, MLOps, CI/CD, API security, container security
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Experience representing organization in audits and governance processes
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, DPDP)
- Experience with data security, access governance, and data lifecycle audits
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
