Job Summary
Data Platform Engineer to join the RUBIK engineering team to design, develop, and enhance cloud-based data solutions on Azure. Responsibilities include supporting Data & Analytics applications through full lifecycle, writing infrastructure-as-code, building data pipelines and ingestion/transformation processes, ensuring data quality and availability, orchestrating workflows with Apache Airflow, and adhering to CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps practices. Ideal candidate has hands-on Azure data platform experience (5+ years), proficiency with Docker/Kubernetes/Terraform, and strong collaboration & communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 5 years of experience with Azure Cloud in a DevOps, Data Platform Engineering role
- Hands-on experience building and supporting cloud-native Data & Analytics solutions on Azure
- Experience with data pipelines, data integration, and workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
- Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Istio, Terraform, and Terraform Cloud
- Experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps CI/CD, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Grafana, Prometheus)
- Strong communication skills and commitment to high-quality engineering practices
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
