Job Summary
Data Platform Engineer responsible for building and maturing Chipotle's data platform and infrastructure. Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform across Azure, Data Lake, Databricks, and Snowflake; implement automated deployment pipelines with Azure DevOps; collaborate with data engineers, architects, and security teams to create a robust, scalable, and secure data ecosystem; hands-on tuning of cloud networking, storage, and performance via Application Insights, Analytics Workspaces, and Datadog; role based in Columbus, OH with four days per week onsite (Friday remote) to drive modernization of data platforms and governance.
Required Qualifications
- B.A./B.S. degree
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience (or equivalent in education and experience)
- Experience with Terraform for managing Azure infrastructure and enterprise data platform objects (DBT, Snowflake, Databricks)
- Strong understanding of Azure services (Data Lake, Storage Accounts, Networking, Security)
- Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines
- High level understanding of cloud networking and data security
