Job Summary
Data Platform Engineer to contribute to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design, collaborating with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models. Key responsibilities include independent SME-level contribution, cross-functional collaboration to align data components with business needs, troubleshooting data integration and platform issues, mentoring junior team members, and monitoring/optimizing data platform performance. Must have proficiency in Microsoft Power BI to design and implement data models and dashboards, with a strong emphasis on data integration techniques, platform architecture, data quality, and effective data visualization to communicate insights.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- 15 years full-time education
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI (BI)
- Experience in designing and implementing data models and dashboards using Power BI
- Strong understanding of data integration techniques and data platform architecture
- Ability to work with various data sources and ensure data quality and consistency
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices
