Job Summary
Data Owner Senior Associate in Business Banking accountable for data created, provisioned, or consumed to support strategic objectives, analytics, operations, and reporting. You will collaborate within the Quad with product owners, design leads, and technology leads to deliver data that meets quality and safety requirements, uplift metadata, design and develop data models, and maintain comprehensive documentation. You’ll support analytics by identifying data required for integration into analytics platforms, drive data excellence through governance, and build strong relationships across Data Delivery, Technology, Analytics, Operations, and Risk. The role emphasizes planning and delivering data initiatives, tracking KPIs, and ensuring data availability, quality, and security across cloud-based and on-premises environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of industry experience in a data-related field
- Technical expertise in data management, data engineering, data pipelines, data modeling, data architecture, and governance
- Proficiency with data modeling tools and techniques
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google, Azure) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Alteryx, Snowflake)
- Strong understanding of data quality, privacy, and security standards and data governance frameworks/tools
- Ability to manage delivery across multiple workstreams with varying timelines
- Subject matter expertise in business or product data or processes
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL
- Understanding of Agile development methodology
- Knowledge of data environments such as AWS S3, Snowflake and Data Bricks
