Job Summary
Data Owner Lead within Asset & Wealth Management responsible for promoting data design, governance, and quality of fees data; collaborates with technology, product owners, and business teams to define data requirements, describe data, implement data quality, and address data risks; develops metrics, dashboards, and analytics to enable data-driven decision-making; leads data governance initiatives, supports analytics platforms, and guides cross-functional teams towards scalable data solutions that align with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field, OR equivalent professional experience in data management, data governance, or a related field
- Experience in data management, data governance, risk management/analytics, or a related field
- Proven leadership track record, demonstrated ability to manage delivery timelines, and ensure the organization is on track to meet goals
- In-depth understanding of data management principles, governance frameworks, and lifecycle management, including data protection, data quality and data classification
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, translating complex data concepts into business strategies
- Strong communication skills, effectively conveying data concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as senior audiences
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and manage large-scale data projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address data issues and develop data insights
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced with Alteryx and data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, to effectively communicate data insights
- Advanced with query writing and execution using data analysis tools
- Intermediate Microsoft Office suite experience
- Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with advanced analytics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence applications in a business context
- Knowledge of query or analytical programming languages
- Experience in leading digital transformation initiatives that leverage data to drive business innovation and efficiency
