Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain highly scalable, reliable ETL/ELT data pipelines to move data from multiple sources into data warehouses and data lakes, with real-time streaming capabilities (Kafka, Flink, Spark) and robust data quality controls. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements, develop data models and schemas for analytics and reporting, monitor performance, and implement data validation and error-handling. Lead and mentor junior data engineers, promote best practices, and stay current with emerging data engineering trends to enhance the data infrastructure for SOF enterprise missions. Location: MacDill AFB, FL; Top Secret/SCI clearance required to start.
Required Qualifications
- The contractor shall identify a Data Operations Technical Lead by name who shall deliver the foundational data infrastructure necessary to transform SOF Enterprise data into a critical strategic asset. - Have active active TS/SCI clearance
- Minimum of eight years’ experience managing digital projects in support of SOF Enteprise customers
Desired Qualifications
- Three years experience managing SOF agile development processes
- Three years experience managing SOF Data Operations processes and procedures
- Three years experience managing SOF digital support request requirements, translating them from customer requests to assigning customer and digital support teams
