Job Summary
Data Operations Specialist ensures data integrity across enterprise systems, maintains data pipelines and databases, supports reporting and analytics needs, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and enable data-driven decision-making. This full-time remote role, assigned to the Geneva Foundation's Bethesda, MD corporate office, requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience in data operations, data management, or analytics support. Proficiency in Excel and SQL, experience with enterprise systems, and a solid understanding of data structures and ETL concepts are essential. Familiarity with data governance concepts, healthcare or government data environments, and exposure to cloud data environments (Azure, AWS, Snowflake) are preferred. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field; or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years of experience in data operations, data management, systems administration, or analytics support
- Proficiency with data tools such as Excel (advanced), SQL, or equivalent
- Experience working with enterprise systems
- Strong understanding of data structures, relational databases, and ETL concepts
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
