Job Summary
Coordinate data management and production for donor and campaign data across client and internal systems; perform quality control checks on campaign files and data outputs; document assumptions, validation steps, and issue resolutions to support repeatable and auditable processes; handle sensitive client and donor data following internal data security, privacy, and file transfer procedures; prepare, document, and transfer data files to and from production vendors; ensure data integrity and troubleshoot discrepancies between client and internal databases; use tools such as Azure, Fabric, SSMS, Power BI, and Excel to organize, transform, and visualize data; maintain internal and client reporting templates; manage and track data requests and internal team projects; monitor status updates, escalate bottlenecks, and identify process improvements; participate in structured training in data tools and reporting workflows; gradually take ownership of data processing and analytical tasks; pursuing opportunities to improve data workflows and automate repeatable processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, equivalent coursework, certification, or relevant professional experience in data, analytics, marketing operations, information systems, or a related area.
- 0–2 years of experience in data operations, marketing operations, analytics, reporting, or a related field; internships, coursework, volunteer work, or project experience will be considered.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning) and other Microsoft 365 applications.
- Interest in learning SQL, data transformation tools, and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI; prior experience is helpful but not required.
- Strong project management skills — detail-oriented and highly organized, adept at planning and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Comfortable performing recurring, detail-oriented data tasks while looking for opportunities to improve and automate repeatable processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to ask clear questions, document processes, and collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Able to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, communicate when timelines or requirements are unclear, and meet deadlines with support from the team.
- Experience with nonprofit CRMs (e.g., Salesforce NPSP, Raiser’s Edge, EveryAction) (Preferred but Not Required).
- Knowledge of direct mail and digital fundraising metrics and integrated multi-channel campaign reporting (Preferred but Not Required).
