Job Summary
Process and reconcile capital calls, distributions, and capital account/valuation statements against fund documents and internal systems. Ingest and validate GP-reported data in Canoe Intelligence and/or iLevel, flag exceptions, and maintain accurate transaction records across ABOR/IBOR platforms. Support month-end/quarter-end valuation close, partner with Research and Client Operations to resolve discrepancies, and contribute to workflow automation by documenting processes and eliminating manual steps. Maintain SOPs for transaction and data workflows. Join the Boston-based Data Operations team supporting global fund book operations with a focus on enhancing core data function and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 1–3 years experience
- Intellectually curious and energized by the prospect of solving business-wide operational challenges
- High attention to detail
- Comfort with high transaction volume and deadlines
- Interest and ability to work within a global team and outsourcing providers
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
Desired Qualifications
- Internship or coursework in alternative investments
- Hands-on experience with Canoe Intelligence and/or iLevel
- Experience with SimCorp Dimension
- Strong Excel skills
- SQL or scripting (Python)
- AI tooling skills
