Job Summary
Data Operations Analyst (Reference Data) at NIQ/NielsenIQ focuses on instruction of client deliverables, coding and data input validation for specific categories. Responsibilities include cross coding and daily quality checks, backing up other coders, planning a complex daily workload to meet schedules, ensuring accuracy from validation to database setup, and coordinating data-related queries with clients and stakeholders. The role emphasizes data passion, high accuracy, proactive mindset, strong analytical and logical thinking, accountability, and willingness to grow. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with familiarity in Excel and ideally SQL, R or Python; English plus an additional Asian language is preferred. The position offers a flexible working environment and inclusion initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics / Computer Science / Business Admin / Statistics or any relevant subjects
- Fresh graduate or with 1 year experience in data and operational areas are welcome
- Excel is mandatory
- One or more of SQL, R or Python
- Able to work as part of a team in a multicultural environment
- High level of accountability and willingness to take ownership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and one additional Asian language
- FMCG background or experience as an encoder is a plus
