Job Summary
The Data Manager gathers, analyzes, and interprets data to provide insights that inform and improve decision-making. Creates charts, graphs, dashboards, and reports for senior managers and non-technical audiences; collaborates to ensure consistency of data management procedures; develops, implements, and maintains data systems for efficient storage and access; identifies data issues and applies regulations to data validation workflows; derives meaningful metrics from diverse data feeds to inform leadership; coordinates data analysis for GED leadership and identifies trends for Directorate-level improvements. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), strong communication skills, and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights are required. Education and experience aligned with a Bachelor’s degree and TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph are noted. This role is based in Chantilly, VA with on-site responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business management, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years with the NRO.
- Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
