Job Summary
Gather, analyze, and formalize business data requirements while acting as the interface between stakeholders and IT. Design and support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to deliver reliable, documented datasets. Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting and operational needs, ensuring data accuracy and traceability. Monitor and continuously improve data quality, consistency, and integrity across supported applications. Contribute to data governance policies, quality controls, and regulatory compliance including GDPR. Collaborate with IT, Compliance, and business units to support production stability and incident resolution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Information Management, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or data support roles, ideally within financial services with minimum of 5 years
- Strong business analysis skills, with the ability to engage business users, challenge requirements, and formalize them clearly
- Solid experience in data extraction, ETL processes, and SQL
- Ability to understand business demands and rationalize and mutualize requirements across teams and locations
- Strong knowledge of data protection regulations (GDPR, etc.) and industry best practices
- Proficiency with data management tools and platforms (SQL databases, data catalogues, reporting and visualization tools)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail
- Service-oriented mindset with the ability to operate in a production and support environment, managing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, cross-functional, and international environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within private banking or wealth management data environments
- Familiarity with application support or IT service management (e.g. ITIL principles)
- Knowledge of data architecture, data flows, and integration patterns
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern data stacks
- Professional certifications such as CDMP, CIMP, or similar
- Fluency in additional languages (especially French or German)
