Job Summary
Data Manager role at Dare County Schools to supervise and manage the student information system (PowerSchool) at the school level. Responsibilities include maintaining and utilizing the SIS, selecting and summarizing data from varied sources for administrators and the State Department of Public Instruction, creating customized reports, managing attendance and student records (demographics, scheduling, grading), distributing report cards and academic reports, tracking discipline data and attendance-related statistics, coordinating security within the SIS, providing training to school staff on SIS usage, and performing advanced scheduling and database/report development. Will design complex reports, build new databases for special reports, interface with the teacher grade book, and support data-related tasks across the school system. Other duties as assigned.
