Job Summary
Oversee and process the collection, management, analysis, reporting, and quality assurance of clinical and operational data for Substance Use Disorder services within Maryland correctional facilities. Maintain program databases, spreadsheets, and tracking systems for accuracy, input referrals, and monitor client movement in collaboration with the clinical team. Identify discrepancies, track program metrics, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the state director and Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. Develop dashboards, analyze performance indicators, and provide guidance on data entry standards to improve tool efficiency and support program evaluation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Health Information Management, Social or Data Sciences, Social Work, or a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Database management
- Experience managing large datasets and producing management-level reports
- Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in data management, reporting, quality improvement, behavioral health, correctional health services, or healthcare
- Ability to analyze large/complex datasets and translate findings into recommendations, reports
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast pace and complex environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information appropriately
- Strong critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working within correctional services, behavioral health or substance use disorder treatment programs
- Knowledge of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) programs and SUD treatment services
- Experience with electronic health records and data visualization platforms
- Familiarity with Maryland state reporting requirements and performance-based contracts
- Knowledge of data management principles, performance measurements
