Job Summary
Design and implement automated data flows to integrate data and processes into contracting authority systems, including historical data migration and new ETL pipelines. Monitor and improve the performance of existing and new ETL flows while ensuring data quality is defined, documented, and analyzed. Support data analysis, modeling, and visualization in collaboration with internal stakeholders such as disease surveillance experts. This remote role within the Development team involves working closely with a major client's IT team on site. Candidates must hold a university degree in computer science or data science with at least three years of experience, or a non-university degree with five years of experience. Fluency in English is required, along with FME and TransactSQL certifications.
Required Qualifications
- University degree within the field of computer science, data science, or another related field; with at least three years of experience in data management/analysis OR non-university degree with at least five years of experience in data management/analysis
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in handling large complex data sets, working with data warehouses and data marts using FME
- A certification/training in FME and TransactSQL
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in data management/analysis in infectious diseases, epidemiology or public health
- Experience in TransactSQL and Python/or R
