Job Summary
Associate Data Manager helps design and maintain tooling for data pipelines, dashboards, and data access; surfaces actionable insights from data lakes; works with radiologists, product managers, AI engineers, and software developers to build and refine medical AI-enabled products; develops medically consistent datasets, establishes annotation guidelines, and contributes to AI algorithm performance oversight; role requires experience with data processes, Python, and databases (BigQuery/MongoDB).
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a health-related field
- Ability to structure, document, and industrialize data processes
- Proficiency in a programming language (ideally Python) and comfortable working with databases (BigQuery, MongoDB)
- Strong reasoning abilities and attention to detail
- Analytical and scientific mindset
- Good communication skills — able to translate needs between technical and less technical stakeholders
- Driven to solve medical problems
- Proactive and curious, with a continuous improvement mindset
- Able to manage multiple topics in parallel while maintaining a big-picture view
