Job Summary
Manage enterprise data sets and metadata documentation while supporting data governance initiatives and ensuring data quality and integrity across platforms. Execute data lifecycle management for CDAO data programs, including metadata management, data cataloging, and quality assurance. Work independently within a fast-paced contracting environment, communicating effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders. Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and provide technical assistance and support over the phone as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Science, or related field
- 4+ years of experience supporting data management activities
- Active Secret security clearance required (or higher)
- Ability to work on-site 5 days a week
- Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting DoD, CDAO, Joint Staff, or federal data management initiatives, including data governance, metadata management, data cataloging, and data quality programs
- Familiarity with enterprise data management tools and frameworks such as Collibra, Informatica, Microsoft Purview, Databricks, DAMA-DMBOK, or equivalent data governance platforms
- Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
- Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
- Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others
- Experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues
