Job Summary
Data Management Strategy & Governance Associate Advisor role within Evernorth’s Data & Analytics team. Involves engineering and advisory duties across scalable cloud-based data platforms using AWS, Databricks, Teradata Vantage, and CI/CD frameworks, along with Microsoft Power Platform tools. Responsible for architectural guidance, data workflows automation, production releases oversight, code reviews, and mentoring within an Agile environment. Focus on end-to-end visibility, self-service analytics, secure and scalable cloud architectures, and alignment with enterprise standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 5 to 8 years of experience (education/experience equivalent)
- 8-11 years of experience
- Working knowledge of Python, Databricks, SQL, Unix and Microsoft Power Platform Technologies
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, S3, VPC, EC2, RDS, IAM)
- Experience with SPARK and real-time analytic frameworks
- Documented BI/analytic development experience on large-scale projects
- SDLC (build, test, deploy) and building web services (HTTP API/RPC)
- Ability to prototype and storyboard/wireframe development
- Write modular code
- Strong communication of design processes and solutions
- Ability to transform large datasets
- Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS or related discipline; 5-8 years experience preferred
- AWS certification preferred
