Job Summary
Data Management Manager role leading a high-performing team responsible for investment data quality across static, reference, and operational data within Capital Markets Operations. Drives KPI tracking, supports platform rollouts (Aladdin, Snowflake, Marketplace), provides SME guidance on data usage for portfolio monitoring, analysis and trading, and oversees recruitment/training while maintaining risk-controlled processes and stakeholder engagement. Hybrid working arrangement between Telford or Edinburgh offices with 3 days in the office, and travel between sites. Emphasizes leadership, data governance, change delivery, and cross-functional collaboration to support Asset Management back-office data operations.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience within RS&AM Operations or a closely related investment operations environment
- Demonstrable expertise in managing, controlling, and enhancing investment data processes—static data, reference data, instrument setup, market data, pricing, and data quality remediation
- Managerial experience leading and developing teams in a data operations or investment operations setting
- Evidence of managing change—supporting system implementations, transitions, new product launches, operating model redesign
- Proven experience with front to back data flows and key Asset Management systems (e.g., Aladdin, Snowflake, OMS/EMS/data platforms)
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including Front Office, Risk, Technology, and external service providers (custodians, data vendors, asset managers)
