Job Summary
Year Up United offers a one-year (or shorter) intensive job training program that blends in-classroom skill development with internships and/or job placement services, plus personalized coaching and mentorship. Participants access internships through YUPRO Placement at leading organizations such as Bank of America, Exelon, or JPMorgan Chase in the Wilmington area, and earn an educational stipend during the internship phase. In-depth classes cover Customer Success, Data Analytics, and Investment Operations, with emphasis on developing professional business and communication skills, interviewing and networking abilities, resume-building, and ongoing guidance to launch a career. Employed graduates report strong post-program outcomes, with many securing employment or continuing education within four months of graduation.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Available Monday-Friday throughout the duration of the program
- Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
- Have not obtained a Bachelor's degree
