Job Summary
Hybrid Data Loss Prevention Engineer focused on strengthening DLP capabilities and AI risk controls across enterprise data. Responsible for implementing and managing DLP tools (DIM/DAR/DAE) and DSPM, reducing data exfiltration risk across data in motion, at rest, and in use. Leverages scripting (PowerShell) and MS Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) to automate security operations and compliance workflows. Collaborates with business lines, technology teams, and senior stakeholders to advance a mature data protection program, using AI concepts to support secure AI implementations and governance. Must stay current with industry best practices, support 24/7 operations, and contribute to security strategy, reporting, and training materials.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience with any DLP tools and DSPM (data security posture management)
- 3+ years in implementing and managing DLP solutions to protect data in motion, at rest, and in use across enterprise environments (DLP tools such as Netskope, Proofpoint, MS Purview)
- 3+ years in PowerShell scripting & programming for automation in security operations
- 3+ years experience with MS Power Tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) and related Microsoft tooling
- 1-2 years with AI security and understanding data exposure risks in AI workflows; design and enforce security controls for AI systems/models
- Foundational knowledge of AI fundamentals
- Typically post-secondary degree in Business or Computer Science or related field; information security certifications preferred
- Ability to communicate with senior stakeholders
- Experience with governance and compliance in security operations
- Experience in security incident response
- Ability to develop automated workflows and secure AI implementations
