Job Summary
Collaborate with the Data Central team to maintain data quality, address accuracy issues, and support the development of data automation solutions including alerting and reporting. Assist in defining thresholds for anomaly detection, perform thorough testing of new solutions across common failure scenarios and edge cases, and automate internal and external reporting. Maintain clear project documentation, incorporate end-user feedback, and apply project management principles to assigned tasks. Conduct ad hoc research and shadow CRM and IT team members to gain organizational exposure. This 16-hour weekly internship provides hands-on experience with cloud data tools like Snowflake and Azure, covering data governance, architecture, and business intelligence best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Data Science, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field
- Intermediate SQL skills
- Experience working with databases
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with centralized project planning and collaboration tools
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- Energetic, curious, and eager to learn and contribute in a team environment
