Job Summary
Data Intelligence Specialist Asset Finance role combining data, reporting, and business analysis to translate reporting requirements into actionable solutions. You will contribute to the development and improvement of investor reporting, ensure data quality and governance, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver on reporting needs. Key duties include gathering and analysing reporting requirements, translating needs into specifications for DevOps, hands-on contribution to investor reporting development, analyzing current processes to identify gaps and improvements, and maintaining functional documentation. Requires Master’s degree and 5+ years in business analysis/data analysis/risk management, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with PowerBI, SQL, Python; DataBricks experience preferred; agile collaboration with IT and business stakeholders; knowledge of data governance and data modeling concepts.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business analysis, requirements gathering or a related role
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in data analyses and data driven risk management within the Financial Services industry, preferably in Asset Finance
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills; ability to represent complex matters clearly
- Proficiency in PowerBI, SQL and Python; hands-on experience with DataBricks preferred
- Experience with Logical Data Modeling and knowledge of data mart design
- Hands-on mindset and pro-active contribution to team goals
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate across business and IT stakeholders
- Ability to translate business and reporting needs into actionable specifications for DevOps teams
- Experience developing and maintaining documentation including functional specifications
- Ability to collaborate with a team focused on risk and data domains
- Experience in asset finance domain is a plus
- Knowledge of data governance principles
