Job Summary
Support day-to-day maintenance, validation, and auditing of core business data by identifying discrepancies, validating cross-functional dashboards and reports, and assisting the Data Governance Specialist. Test data changes, system updates, and enhancements to ensure they do not negatively impact data quality or reporting. Review and compare data across multiple sources, including Excel exports, system reports, and user interface data, to identify inconsistencies. Document and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders in a concise and timely manner. Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities while applying critical thinking skills to investigate potential causes.
Required Qualifications
- Comfortable using data manipulation and reporting tools, including Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and similar reporting or data analysis tools
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and investigate potential causes
- Basic understanding of business processes, workflows, and common business terminology
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to time sensitive issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience in a data validation, data integrity, data quality, or data governance role
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with CRM, ERP, or other transactional business systems
- Experience with SAP or Salesforce
