Job Summary
Data Integration Specialist to analyze, plan and integrate data elements from multiple systems, automate business processes, and provide leadership for data-related projects. Works with department staff and external vendors to migrate/integrate third-party software, support centralized data systems (including Skyward SIS), and develop standards and interfaces to move data between disparate systems using scripting and server-side technologies. Responsibilities include collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, documenting processes and workflows, maintaining data dictionaries and instructional software applications, overseeing projects to ensure compliance with guidelines, and delivering district-wide data services and end-user support.
Required Qualifications
- Three years’ experience with SQL-based databases
- Two years’ experience with scripting/programming languages (C#, PHP)
- Familiarity with K-12 business processes and relevant software
- Bachelor's degree in a related technology field (preferred)
- Experience with data migration/integration projects
- Knowledge of Skyward or similar student information systems (preferred)
