Job Summary
Create data-focused editorial content and reports for sports media clients using the Opta database and live in-game data. Liaise with international teams to ensure smooth content workflows and provide onsite live support at broadcast studios for presenters and commentators. Produce social media content while innovating on new ways to use data to enhance storytelling. Work shift-based with weekend and night coverage, fitting the sports schedule in a diverse, multicultural environment. Live in the Netherlands near the Amsterdam office with fluent Dutch and English skills.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Living in the Netherlands, within travel distance of our Amsterdam office
- Excellent knowledge of European football, in particular Dutch football, and UEFA Club Competitions
- The ability to produce data-focused editorial content and reports to a high standard
- Understanding of how raw data can be turned into compelling insight and sharable content
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word) is essential
- Willingness to fit the sports schedule, working 'shift based' role, featuring weekend and night work
- Must also be flexible and adaptable to the changing demands of the role in a diverse and multicultural global environment
- Ability to work well to tight deadlines in a highly pressurized environment
- Ability to offer creative and flexible solutions to help develop new ideas and shape innovative data-led products
