Job Summary

Manage and optimize the Student Information System (PowerSchool) by developing user roles, permissions, and protocols while serving as the primary technical expert for school teams. Collaborate with instructional leadership to design internal assessments, analyze scholar academic data for action planning and board reports, and facilitate data days. Coordinate troubleshooting for staff across data systems, maintain master and student schedules, and ensure proper data entry protocols through collaboration with operations. Serve as the liaison between the school and identity management consultants to support seamless system integration.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of K-12 school systems and understanding of ways in which core data and digital systems function and can be leveraged to improve outcomes for students
  • 4+ years of proven experience designing, deploying, and managing core information systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Working technical knowledge of data modeling techniques including conceptual, logical, and physical
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
